Inspired on “Spirit Island”, this Kadenwood home not only frames the forest outside, but brings it to the inside.
Turned wood poles define the entry procession; irregular spacing of the colonnade and random rafter spacing echo the composition of the forest. Tall interior spaces, narrow windows and variable wood ceilings are all meant to bring the experience of the forest inside.
