Currently in the rezoning process the ‘Greenhouse’ Project is a proposed multi-family housing project on the site of Grizell’s greenhouse growers in Nelson, a long time landmark for local residents. This prime property is uniquely situated between the heritage Brewery Building to the north and a collection of some of Nelson’s finest heritage homes to the south and west. The Nelson Synergy Group is developing the site with the intention that the project be the first multi-residential gold Certified LEED project in the Kootenays thereby becoming a prototype for future development in Nelson.
